Today is Absurdity Day. Sometimes we can’t help but go a little nuts with our creativity. This picture of my #cat, #Thumper on a ladder says it all, but #AbsurdityDay isn’t just for #photography. You can try dressing up in a funny outfit and go around greeting people or cook a strange food that shouldn’t taste good, but does.
One of the foods I used to serve when I worked at BJ’s was Throw-up dip #ThrowUpDip. I can’t remember the recipe we used, but I found these online. And, yes, it really does look like someone upchucked into your bowl, but it tastes great!
Recipe 1
- 1 8 oz. bar softened cream cheese
- 1 can Hormel Chili (no beans)
- 1 1/2 – 2 C shredded mexican style cheddar cheese
Recipe 2
- 1 pkg cream cheese (8 oz)
- 1 jar Pace salsa- any flavor
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
Serve on a Tortilla shell.
