Mind Child

Working for a company that intends to mass produce androids to be human companions and caregivers, Dr. John Warren discovers a deep, dark secret that’s been buried for thousands of years. His daughter, a talented young artist of fourteen, begins to sabotage his work in competition for her father’s attention, blaming it on her art projects which she insists have come to life. Frustrated with his daughter’s antics, Dr. Warren seeks the advice of a Chinese professor, Bai Liang who has been ostracized from the archeology community due to some radical statements he had made about Qui Shi Huang’s Terracotta Army coming to life. When they finally realize that a two-thousand-year-old influence could be resurfacing in Dr. Warren’s work, it may be too late to stop an advancing army of robotic humans without someone making the ultimate sacrifice. Together they discover just how real imagination can be.

I loved this book. It had a little bit of everything. Mystery, comedy, twists! A great read. Once started could not put down until complete. Can not wait until his next book. Count me a fan. Beyond Blue is another great read.
