Would you like to learn everything I know about self-publishing books? Here’s your chance. Thursday, October 10th, 2019, 6pm-9pm. I’ll be teaching a class on self-publishing at the BOCES adult education program in Goshen.
An easy to follow class outlining the three-step process of self-publishing any book from writing the manuscript, publishing it as an actual book, and launching it to sell on Amazon as well as other booksellers. It teaches how to set up Microsoft Word properly to produce a formatted file ready to be uploaded to online book printers such as Kindle Direct Publishing, owned by Amazon, and Ingram Spark. Copyright, Library of Congress, International Book Numbers, and bar codes will all be explained in easy to follow steps. Several books, self-published by the instructor, will be available for class participants to examine. Traditional publishing via a literary agent and a mainstream publisher will be covered as well.
