Today, July 7th is World Chocolate Day.
On April 1st, 2017, the FDA in conjunction with the USDA, declared that chocolate has met the federal guidelines for being a vegetable. Note the date. But, chocolate does come from the seeds of the cacao tree, which are actually a bean, a vegetable. So, stretch the truth a little today and have some chocolate while reading your favorite book.
