My flash fiction story, the Chicken made the long list in the Autumn 2019 Reflex Fiction Contest. Not bad for my first attempt. There were 494 entries and the long list is the best 50 of those. So, my writing is in the top ten percent! I can accept that.
It will be published on their website sometime in December and in their printed version in February. I’ll let you know when my story shows up so you can read it.
If you are interested in this contest, they are currently accepting entries for their winter competition. I won’t be entering this one, because I am in the middle of writing my next novel. I don’t want to stop.
